Summer Family Movie Deals

Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres
Select theatres are again offering previously released G and PG movies every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer for only $1 admission! All movies start at 10am and run from June 28th through August 24th. Some examples are MegaMind, Ramona & Beezus, Charlotte's Web, Despicable Me, Yogi Bear and Monsters vs. Aliens. To check whether your theatre is offering this special check here and search by zip code or state. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute.

Centrury Theatres, CineArts and Tinseltown
Select theatres are offering 10 weeks of family films through their Summer Movie Clubhouse. There is a new film each week for only $5 for all 10 weeks IF you buy the tickets in advance (in theatres) or $1 if buying the day of the event. Since each theatre has the option to pick the date and times each week along with the movie so make sure you check the list of participating theatres. The $5 punch cards are available at the theatre box while supplies last so you will want to check your local theatre soon. Prices are the same for kids and adults so make sure you grab a punch card for yourself.

Marquee Cinemas
Select theatres are offering different family films each week for no charge during the summer. Check here for dates and times at a theatre near you. Schedules will vary.


Carmike Cinemas
Select theatres are offering different family films (G or PG) throughout the summer for only a $1 admission. And they are also offering their kids tray (popcorn, drink and fruit snack) for only $4! Movies are on Thursdays starting at 10 am and the schedule is available online.


Muvico Theaters
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10 am enjoy a free family movie at all Muvico Theater locations. Check out the schedule and film listings online and their $3.50 Kids Tray (popcorn, drink and kid treat) which will benefit the Will Rogers Institute.

Borders Events
Pottery Barn Kids is offering a free book for kids ages 10 and under until August 19 when they either attend the storytime hour at PBK or read the books independantly at home. Head over to here to see the reading list and download the form to bring in for the free book. Pottery Barn Kids also offers StoryTime every Tuesday from 11-11:30am. Scholastic Books
Your child can earn up to 5 free books from Scholastic Books through their Learn and Earn Center simply by completing a math or reading activity (or both!) for their age group. Download and print the reading and/or math activity sheet(s) for your child's age group here. Have your child complete the activities for his or her age group. Children can earn TWO books by completing one activity sheet and FIVE books by completing two activity sheets.  Print the reward redemption form and mail the completed form and your child's activity sheet(s) to Scholastic to qualify for your rewards!
